Raffle Master

Purchase a small prize (or unwanted present) to the value of about $15 -$20 that could be raffled. The club will have the tickets.

Although this is a short segment, it is to be treated as a prepared speaking segment or a mini-speech. There is to be an opening, body and a conclusion, all aimed at motivating the audience to buy, buy, buy! Use your imagination and be as creative as you like to enhance the suspense.

Selling price of the tickets is $1 each or 3 for $2.00. Total time for segment 1 - 2 minutes. Sell the tickets during the supper break and give the money to the Treasurer at the end of the meeting.

When tickets have been sold, pull out the ticket butts and place in a container. 

When called on to draw the raffle, shake the container  and ask someone to draw the winning ticket.
